Dates Missing from Newsletter Calendar: Hello! There are three dates that are missing from the quarterly calendar that was recently sent out. Sunday May 19th, the Cascade Fire Department will host the 3rd Annual Car Show.  Sunday June 2nd, the Cascade First Responders will be hosting an All You Can Eat Breakfast fundraiser.  Saturday June 15th, the Cascade Rec Club will be hosting the 3rd Annual Kickball Tournament. Please see the newsletter for more information on each of these events!

Welcome Our New Village Clerk, Emily Rubenis!

The Village of Cascade is thrilled to announce the appointment of Emily Rubenis as our new Village Clerk! She has been working with outgoing Village Clerk, Kayla Simanovski, over the last month to transition into her new role. We are confident that Emily will bring valuable experience, dedication, and a positive attitude to this important role.

To help you get acquainted with Emily, we conducted a brief Q&A to learn more about her background and interests:

Hometown: Plymouth, WI (Lifelong resident!)

Family: Emily lives in Plymouth with her husband and two children: a high schooler and a college student studying abroad. Their furry family includes two cats and a dog.

Professional Background: Prior to joining the Village, Emily spent several years working at a university. Motivated by a desire for a new challenge, she was excited to discover this opportunity in Cascade.

Hobbies & Interests: In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, hiking/walking, baking, and indulging in good movies. When spending time with loved ones, game nights and puzzles are a favorite activity.

Looking Forward: Emily is eager to be part of the vibrant Cascade community and has already been warmly welcomed by residents and staff. She is excited about this new opportunity and the chance to serve the Village.
