Leaf pick up: This year, Cascade residents can rake their leaves to the curb (or roadside if you don't have a curb) and every Thursday until Thanksgiving the village will be collecting leaves. This is weather permitting-if it snows too much, we cannot collect the leaves.
The Cascade First Responders & Fire Department are hosting a Community Safety Day on Saturday, April 29th from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Cascade Fire Department. This event will be an opportunity for the entire family to see and hear demonstrations from the following teams: SWAT Team, Water/Dive Team, Drone Team, and the Cascade First Responders and Fire Department. Other organizations attending/presenting are the Sheboygan County Incident Command Trailer, K9 Unit, Sheboygan County Human Trafficking Prevention Team, Rodgers Behavioral Health, Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar Screentings, Sharon Richardson Hospice, and Sheboygan County Health and Human Services Resources. Weather permitting the FLIGHT FOR LIFE helicopter will be landing at 1 PM. Free hot dogs, popcorn, water and soda will be available while supplies last. The event is FREE so please mark your calendars and head out to Cascade Fire Hall on Saturday, April 29th!
